UK Safari Park Tips

Taking a Safari, especially an overnight one can be a thrilling, but dangerous adventure. For this very reason it’s important for first time adventurers to be extra cautious and take into consideration a few tips and tricks to make sure that their safari is a safe one. While not all UK safari parks provide the traditional African safari adventure, there are some that do and these are quite dangerous if you do not plan properly.

One very important thing to remember is that wandering around the park at night is not allowed. The camps are secure and you will have to make sure that you are back inside at a certain time. Remember that the animals that wonder around in the UK safari parks are wild and live as they would in the wild. You will have to make sure that when you go out on drives with a park ranger or on your own that you do not at any point get out of your car unless there is a sign that says you can. You must also take care when opening your windows. Keep them at least half way shut in case you need to close them quickly.

UK safari parks have fewer incidents of the dangerous kind, but that is usually due to some one not taking heed of the rules that are in place to ensure your safety. If you decide to go one of the camping UK safari parks where you will sleep in a tent, be sure to pack really well. The last thing you want is to freeze and not enjoy your trip. Also pack some kind of bug spray, because out in the parks, there will probably be plenty of them. To truly enjoy UK safari parks one should take care and be smart, and then the end result will be a trip you can treasure for the rest of your life.
